A Fuel injected, full turbo and fresh off the line show for car lovers. Host Craig J. Jackson drops the knowledge you won't find in any driver's manual. From avoiding traffic violations to car thieves, Test Drive gives you the keys to the road.
Craig J. Jackson was born in Sacramento, California to a United States Air Force Fighter Pilot, Lt. Colonel Gene E. Jackson and a semi-pro bowler, Nelda Jackson. So young C.J. was either going to inherit the desire to go really, really fast or the need to drink stale beer and wear ugly shoes. Lucky for Test Drive fans, he's attracted to both.
Because Craig grew up as a military kid, his family traveled extensively. The places he called home include Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada; Langley Air Force Base in Virginia and Bitburg Air Force Base in Germany among others. Craig started appearing on television in high school when he was chosen to host a local magazine show called Scratch. Since then, Craig has acted, hosted and produced a myriad of television programs including ER (NBC), John from Cincinnati (HBO), Thirty Seconds to Fame (Fox), Midnight Money Madness (TBS) and Channel One News.
Now C.J. is host of MOJO's high definition series Test Drive. Craig's first car was a 1988 Nissan Pulsar, a car that had about as much horsepower as a hamster on a wheel (albeit a stocky hamster). Since then, Craig has upgraded his caliber of automobile and hopes his knowledge of cars will be an asset.
