The band who have been known to take stage alongside an illuminous plastic goose, were raised in the West Country but were discovered by chance, in a London pub. Since the boss of Domino Records (home of Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys) fell smitten, it hasn't taken long for word to spread. What's more, Sam Windett (vocals, guitar), Dorian Hobday (bass) and Mark Cleveland (drums) should be even more proud to learn they've been nominated for the coveted 'Best New Act' prize by Mojo magazine. From the moody "Cuckoo" to the grimy basslines of "Dart For My Sweetheart" Archie Bronson Outfit play irresistibly crunching blues and whilst comparisons to The King's of Leon are easily made, they're more raw, messy and quintessentially British.
