Produced by Martin Terefe (who's previously worked with Smashing Pumpkins, U2, and PJ Harvey) the album begins with dark, introspective gems such as: "Cosy Prisons" and "Birthright" full of acoustic strumming, cleverly crafted melodies and whimsical vocals. "Keeper of the Flame" and "Over The Treetops" have an unexpected Beachboys quality, full of layered sounds and falsetto, whilst "Analogue" and "Celice" arguably the most anthemic tracks, continue the moody sentiment with an ultimately uplifting spirit, giving credence to Magne's thoughts about their latest offering: "We've come back to our own history and re-examined it differently, a bit more in celebration than what we've done before." Indeed, this one is well worth celebrating, here's to the next 20 years.
